Satakieli Club
Satakieliklubi was an annual multimedia literature event that introduces and highlights international literature and translation through a dialogue with sound art and design. Launched in 2015, the program was a pioneering experience in Finland—bringing together professional and emerging transnational writers based in the Nordic region, representing backgrounds from over twenty nationalities.

For each edition, audiovisual content was tailored to the event’s concept. The word Satakieli means nightingale in Finnish, but the name Satakieliklubi is a compound of “sata” (hundred) and “kieli” (language).
